Paradise Valley - Blue Ribbon Trout Fishing & Yellowstone National Park
Located south of Livingston and dwarfed by the towering peaks of the Absaroka Range to the east and the Gallatin Range to the west, Paradise Valley is one of Montana’s most scenic valleys. With the Yellowstone River flowing through the middle, whether here to fish or not, it is a premier vacation destination in its own right.
The Blue Ribbon fly fishing waters of the legendary Yellowstone River are greatly enhanced by the inclusion of three World Class Spring Creeks in Depuys, Nelson, and Armstrong. These spring creeks only let six rods a day on their waters, enhancing the quality of the fishing, and creating exclusivity for those who get on the docket. Inquire now to get on the list, it could be a year before you get a chance to wade them yourself.
Just because the fishing is so popular doesn’t mean there isn’t more to do. The Blue Ribbon waters of Yellowstone National Park are a short drive away, and in late spring there is exceptional white water rafting. Come summer you can zip line, hike, camp, backpack, mountain bike, ride horses, or linger in Chico Hot Springs. And of course, you can always return to Yellowstone to explore.
